MonuMental: The Hack’s Back (Sci-fi 2)

Am I real or just a video game character? In the future … things can get very confusing.

A History of MonuMental covers

MonuMental: The Hack’s Back – the young adult sci-fi sequel to EleMental: A First-person Shooter – was originally requested by the now defunct Pier 9/Murdoch Books. I personally commissioned MonuMental through its editing and artwork processes and – like so many! – the book is now looking for a home with a publisher or agent.

In writing the story, I drew from my social work experiences in the sexual diversity field. However, instead of exploring sexual and gender identity questions, I focused on identity issues within a futuristic video game environment.

The book can be read as a sequel to EleMental, or as a standalone.
